I can't think of anything more festive for the Fourth of July than fireworks. You can have a barbecue. Invite the family over have a pool party, but it doesn't quite feel like Independence Day without those illuminated rockets lighting up the sky. In fact, could you imagine this day without those inventions, no fireworks, no grilling? No way, it would seem like any ordinary day. To commemorate this day, I'll be counting down what I personally believe to be the top 4/4 of July inventions. Number one is the sparkler. Invented by Auguste Hormel and patented in 1936. This handheld firework is enjoyed every year by kids and adults alike. It burns slowly for about 90 seconds, while emitting colorful flames and crackling sparks. Number two the grill despite being patented in the 1800s it wasn't until the late 1940s When people really began taking a serious interest in grilling. Since then, grilling has evolved to become a staple of our American independent state. The third invention on our list may not be as popular as the former two, but that doesn't discount it from being an essential Fourth of July invention. The anti anxiety shirt for pets helps pet owners calm their furry friends during fireworks, thunderstorm, travel, separation and more. inventions like these can help you enjoy your holiday festivities a bit more knowing that your best companion isn't frightened or stressed. And finally, the fire extinguisher. If you're using invention number one or two on this list, then invention number four, the fire extinguisher can be a lifesaver. Inventor George William manby received the credit of inventing the first pressurized fire extinguisher that was also portable, by Thomas Martin received a patent for the fire extinguisher in 1972 for his improvement, so if you need to put out a little fire while you're grilling, or setting off fireworks, you know who to think this concludes just some of the inventions we know love and need to help enjoy or Fourth of July. On behalf of me and everyone at the patent professor. We wish you a safe and Happy Independence Day.
