CORAL SPRINGS, Florida—John Rizvi, Esq., Founder of The Patent Professor®, proudly announces his law firm’s achievement of two prestigious awards in 2023. For the third time (previously in 2020 and 2022), The Patent Professor® achieved the Inc. 5000 List, awarded for achieving a 109% 3-year growth. The awards ceremony was held on November 2.
Inc. 5000 ranks companies that must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2019, according to percentage revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. In addition, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—meaning not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies as of December 31, 2022. For 2019, the minimum revenue requirement is $100,000, and for 2022, $2 million. Inc. Magazine compiles the list and ranks companies based on their three-year revenue growth.
The Apogee Awards recognized Rizvi and The Patent Professor® as the 2023 Honoree for CEO of a Medium Company, defined as 26-100 employees. Created by South Florida Business & Wealth (SFBW) magazine to honor outstanding C-Suite leaders who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, innovation, and growth, the Apogee Awards honored the best and brightest in the business world at an award ceremony on November 16.
Rizvi is a patent attorney and entrepreneur board-certified by the Florida Bar as a Specialist in Intellectual Property Law, who has been helping inventors protect their ideas for over 20 years.
“I am honored to be recognized by both the Inc. 5000 and the Apogee Awards,” he says. “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of my team and I to help inventors protect their ideas and inventions.”
