Connie Masters is a registered Patent Agent of counsel to the firm. She is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is experienced in a wide variety of areas of patent prosecution practice. Graduating from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas with a B.S. in General Science, she did her Master's work in cellular biology at the University of Missouri where her research was on a temperature-sensitive mitotic mutant cell line. Connie is very involved in promoting science and technology to students, having served as a mentor for the NASA FIRST Robotics Competition, served on two private school boards, and provided numerous scientific presentations and enrichment opportunities for high school students. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), and on the Executive Board of her local Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. She has substantial expertise in the protection of industrial equipment, tools, robotics, computer hardware, software, Internet and networking applications, biotechnology, medical devices, genetics, and immunology. |
