Step 1: Initial Strategy
This is where we plan for your success and is a definite must.
We work with you, using our knowledge of the markets, to determine if your idea or invention is commercially viable. Then we find the best way to market it.
Step 2: Patent Application
Most inventors and business owners are familiar with this. We can conduct an extremely thorough patent search to determine whether your idea or invention exists already. If it does, there is no point in continuing. If your idea or invention does not already exist, we discuss with you which type of application to focus on: A Provisional Utility Application, a Non-Provisional Utility Application, or a Design Patent. More than one type of patent is recommended in some cases.
Step 3: Enforcement
Once your idea or invention is patented and commercially available, the key is to protect it, making sure it is never stolen or "borrowed". We are very aggressive when called on to protect our clients and enforce their patent monopoly.
