Legal Staff
Combining
two years of post-graduate law school training at St. Thomas University School
of Law with over nine years of litigation, docketing, and legal research experience,
Steven is an integral part of the firm's legal staff. He is fluent in Spanish
and often assists the firm's attorneys in conducting initial client interviews.

Louis
assists the firm with all aspects of patent and trademark prosecution, litigation,
and licensing. Although a full-time member of the firm’s legal staff,
Louis is also a current law student at Nova Southeastern University School of
Law and aspires to practice as an intellectual property attorney upon graduation.
He is able to answer specific questions concerning the status of your case.
Louis is fluent in French and often assists the firm’s attorneys in conducting
initial client interviews.

Vincci assists the firm with all aspects of client communications and support relating to patent and trademark prosecution, litigation, and licensing. She also assists the firm with docketing and providing periodic status updates on client matters before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

As
a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida, Louisiana, and Kansas, Ike brings
over 30 years of senior level government and private sector technical expertise
to the firm. Having received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
in 1967, his professional training and experience includes several years as
a quality assurance engineer under the regulatory compliance program at the
Wolf Creek and Waterford Nuclear Power Generating Plants in New Orleans, Louisiana
and Burlington, Kansas. During this time, his multidisciplinary course work
and experience included rotational training in mechanical, electrical, and chemical
engineering as well as specialized experience in instrumentation, electrical
power systems, machine/motor design and operation, and technical quality control
matters.

Dr.
Rizvi’s knowledge base in the applied sciences and experience as a practicing
dentist is frequently called upon to assist in understanding and evaluating innovative
products and business methods in a wide variety of health science fields.
She
received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rutgers University and
completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry
in New Jersey. Dr. Rizvi then completed a General Practice Residency with the
Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City.
She
plans to sit for the upcoming examination for licensure as a Registered Patent
Agent before the United States Patent & Trademark Office in April, 2006.

Dr.
Baqri brings invaluable scientific knowledge and expertise to the firm regarding
the evaluation and patenting of medical and dental innovations, drugs, chemical
procedures, and novel materials, agents, and products utilized in hospitals, medical/dental
laboratories, offices and other health-related applications.
She
received her Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Molecular and Microbiology
from the University of Central Florida and completed her postgraduate education
at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. Dr. Baqri then completed
a General Practice Residency with the University of Florida, College of Dentistry,
Shands Jacksonville Hospital. As a licensed dentist, Dr. Baqri brings a wealth
of knowledge in the pure sciences and offers her experience and practical training
to the firm.
